Born in China, Carrie is now the complete Vancouverite. Living close to the sea, she is a convert to boardsports, and one of her favourite pastimes is kite-surfing in Squamish. On dry land, she’s an accomplished boxer, and she has recently combined her love of horses and competition to become a polo player. Burning all those calories means that Carrie is also free to indulge in the wonderful food culture of her adopted home, especially along Denman.
