Andrew Lai leads the business operations of one of Vancouver’s most important Chinese-language news outlets. Originally from Hong Kong, he’s been in Vancouver since 1993, carving out a career in the world of media, with Ming Pao and The Georgia Straight, as well as Sing Tao. Andrew is a graduate of the UBC Sauder School of Business.

He can often be found at his favourite swimming pool in Kits before 7am, one of his fitness rituals. He is also a dedicated cyclist, covering vast distances in the Lower Mainland and beyond. A true Vancouverite, Andrew loves everything to do with the great outdoors; his favourite spot is Kitsilano Beach at sunset.
